HEALTHY CHANGE-OF-SEASONS BLENDER JUICE DRINK

© Ocean of Peace Chiropractic & Natural Therapeutics

This is very easy to make, and will give a real boost to the immune system and liver. Be sure to drink all of the juice make within 36 hours. Enjoy!

In a blender, combine the following:

     2 cups water
1 large beet or 2 small beets - washed lightly, peeled, and cut into chunks
3/4 cup carrots - large carrots cut up or baby carrots
1 large apple of your choice - cored and cut into wedges

Optional - if you want a sweet mixture:
1/2 cup seedless grapes or 1/4 cup honey or agave nectar

Directions:

Pour water into blender. Add beet and blend until smooth. Add carrots, blend until smooth. Add apple, blend until smooth. Add grapes or sweetener if desired, blend until smooth.

Mixture will be very thick. Don't be afraid to add more water if needed.

Drink at least 10 to 12 ounces. Pour remainder into glass container and put in fridge. This will give you gentle blood and liver cleansing as well as a healthy dose of fiber. While this is good anytime, it is beneficial during the change of seasons when most people become ill.

NATURAL AGAVE SYRUP - LOW GLYCEMIC ALTERNATIVE
Agave Nectar is a natural caloric sweetener with the lowest glycemic index obtained from the Agave plant that can be used to sweeten any type of beverage or food. We recommend it to our diabetic and hypoglycemic patients. Check their web site to order. (And their Mexican Vanilla is the best we've ever tasted!)
